Join us October 9th to hear Dan Boughton present on Capturing Customer Requirements. The presentation will focus on the concept that projects do not fail at the end, the fail at the beginning if attention is not paid to getting a firm understanding of project requirements. Understanding requirements helps eliminate scope creep, but more importantly ensures the projects we deliver are exactly what the stakeholders want.
Dan is a PMI Michiana Chapter member with an Associates Degree in Electronics and a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with focuses on business and technology. He has been in the IT industry for 30 years. Dan has worked at his current employer, Network Solutions Inc. in Granger for 20 years. For many years, the business model was that the person who was installing the project also managed. 6 years ago, management realized projects were too big and complicated for a single personl to do the work and manage the project at the same time. Dan was asked to become a full time project manager and start Network Solutions PMO. Since then he has earned his PMP and has continued to develop their PMO.
