Join us for our annual PMI Michiana Business Meeting. Dinner is available for those interested.
We will be reviewing current state of business from board members, reviewing election opportunities and available seats on the board, and our own VP of Membership, Dan Boughton, will be presenting to those in attendance.
Project management can be viewed as cumbersome and overwhelming and with excessive overhead. This is especially true when project managers use terms like earned value management, critical path analysis, burn down charts etc...
Dan will break down the aspects of project management to the bare essentials that will enable you to use them for everything from an IT project to building a backyard garden shed? Once we understand the essentials for project management we can better understand when and where to use some of the more advanced project management tools.
Dan has over 30 years experience managing projects and has been a Certified Project Manager since 2014. He has been an active chapter member for PMI Michiana since 2014 and a part of the PMI Michiana board of directors since 2021. Dan currently works at the University of Notre Dame and has since 2019. Prior to that he was a team member at Network Solutions in Granger for 21 years.
