Virtual Event - Agile Insights: Rethinking Perfect Plans

Ways of Working

Agile Insights:  Rethinking Perfect Plans

A brief discussion about Agile project management and mindset.  This overview is designed to give predictive (waterfall) project managers a better understanding of Agile.  We will look at a side-by-side comparison of planning in a plan driven project versus an agile project.  We will also attempt to answer those age-old questions (at least asked since 1990's), why are we always sprinting and why do they call it Scrum?

Objectives:

  1. Have attendees leave with a better understanding of agile project management and its legitimate place in the project world.
  2. Gain a realization that we can’t always build a perfect plan, so what then?
  3. Takeaway some agile concepts for use in our predictive (waterfall) projects.
